Mahogany Obsidian is a type of Obsidian with Hematite or Magnetite inclusions within, giving it its red, brownish color. Obsidian is a naturally occurring volcanic glass. Mahogany Obsidian can be commonly found any place where volcanic activity occurs, but the most notable localities include the countries of Mexico, Japan, Afghanistan and my homeland - Brazil. Each pendant features a 16 - 18 inch copper chain.
